    Hi Mike,

My name is Mariah, I am a teen from Wisconsin. I think that this trip that you are taking is a neat idea! We have something in common as I also have Usher Syndrome, mine is type 1. There are many places that I have been fortunate enough to visit that might be possible places for you to travel to. If you enjoy the beauty of nature then you can’t go wrong with some of the National Parks here in the United States. If you want to escape from this bitterly cold Wisconsin Winter you may want to visit the friendly people of Jamaica. If caves interest you then you may want to visit one of the USA’s best kept secrets…Ruby Falls under Look Out Mountain in Chattanooga Tennessee. Wow, with so many amazing places on Earth it would be difficult to decide. From one person with Usher Syndrome to another….after your Flight4sight trip….remember to enjoy the simple things around you as they contain beauty too if we look for it!
Sometime it would be great to meet you and hear about your “flight”, and share with you all that my family has already learned about Usher Syndrome.
    Safe travels,
    Mariah
